3. Jamaica Info Meeting: Sunday, October 22nd, 4 PM in The Cornerstone (high school room)
  • The Jamaica Mission Trip is June 16th - 23rd, 2018
  • This meeting is for all current high school students AND their parents!
  • It is purely informational, there is no need to commit to the team at this meeting
  • The goal will be to present you with enough information to make a decision about committing, and to answer any questions you may have about the trip

4. Dig is tomorrow (Wednesday), October 4th from 6:30 - 7:45
  • High School Girls will study the book of Joshua, High School guys will study Song of Solomon
  • Middle School students will get to enjoy some games and icebreakers, and then have a time focused on learning how to see all of life through the lens of God's Word
  • Adults, we still need 1 man to help with the middle school portion of this program!

5. Underground is this Sunday, October 8th from 5 - 6:30!

6. Save these dates for future events:
  • Parents' Night Out Fundraiser: Friday, November 17th
  • High School Christmas Party: Friday, December 8th
  • I have changed the form to also include a Media Release...it is still just one form
  • Every student needs one of these...just fill them out and return them to the Church Office
  • They don't have to be notarized
  • Hard copies are available in the church foyer
  • The form can be found online here

9. Mentoring Program
  • 15 adults have gone through training to become youth mentors at HPC
  • The goal is for each adult to meet with a student on a regular basis for one-on-one discipleship
  • We hope that many of our students will get to take advantage of this.
  • In the near future, someone may contact you (parents) about meeting one-on-one with your son or daughter
  • If you would like more information about the program, give me a call!

In Christ,
