High School

The Student Ministry at HPC is all about knowing God, growing together, and showing others the love of Christ.

Weekly Happenings at HPC

Underground (Sunday Evenings from 6 – 7:30): Why is this ministry called “Underground?” That’s simple! We literally meet underground, on the bottom floor of HPC! This is a time where all students – middle and high school – gather together to play silly games, fellowship together, and worship God! Then, middle and high school students split up for teaching times. In the high school group, we have been studying what the Bible says about our identities as Images of God in Christ.

D-Groups (Wednesday Evenings from 6 - 7:30): D (Discipleship) Groups are a time for fellowship and taking a closer look at God’s Word. This Fall, the girls are studying the Book of Luke while the high school guys are studying a book called The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Food Bank (2nd Wednesday Evening of every month): This is a great opportunity for us to show the love of Christ to others. Students go to the Chattanooga Food Bank and help sort through and box up all sorts of donated food items to help those who are less fortunate in our area.

Sunday Mornings: High School Students meet at 9:30 in the Basement for Sunday School. This Fall we are studying the Book of Job.

TLC (Thursdays at the Lusk Crib): Every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 10pm, all youth are invited to come over to Morgan and Jennifer Lusk’s house and hang out for a night of games, movies, snacks, and fun!
