The grace of God experienced in Jesus Christ must become the defining reality of our whole lives. It is not just the way He saves us, but the source for continuing growth in the Christian life. God’s grace sets us free to live new lives marked by His presence and love free from fear and despair. Salvation is by grace alone, therefore our hope is in Christ alone.

We believe God saves us to change us, and that the change He intends is a radical transformation of our inner person. Therefore our lives should be marked by a desire for and pursuit of heart and life change. We also recognize that we cannot change ourselves, we have already tried and failed. Only God can change us and He promises to do so as we love and pursue Him in intimate relationship.

God so loved the world that he sent Jesus to seek and to save that which was lost. As Jesus was sent, so also we are a sent community who desire to impact the world, locally and globally, with the good news of Jesus Christ. We want to give and go, serve and love, at home and abroad in ways that make the world a better place and which make Jesus Christ attractive to a lost world.

The Bible is the only reliable guide to instruct us in what we should believe and how we should live. Therefore, biblical preaching & teaching are one of the most important ways that God nurtures our love for Him and shapes and transforms our lives.

We believe that the Christian life is essentially relational. We cannot be and experience all that God has purposed for us except through personal, loving and accountable relationships. God uses people to challenge, encourage, and change us. This will happen as we stop hiding and start being open and honest with each other, and start responding with grace and the love of Christ. No excusing sin, but encouraging one another.

Though all of life should be worship, God’s people are warned not to forsake our gathering together because He has designed it for our health, encouragement and growth. We believe people were made to worship and that it is an important way that we find and express joy in Christ. We want our worship to be vibrant, reverent, relevant and gospel-driven.
