Deuteronomy 6:5-7 says: You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
According to this passage, parents play the biggest role in helping students to build their lives on the Word of God. Our goal is to assist you in this not only by teaching and mentoring your children, but also by providing you with resources on parenting teenagers.
Student Ministry
purpose
The HPC Student Ministry equips students to trust Jesus as their cornerstone, make God’s Word their foundation and invest their lives in God’s Kingdom mission.

To assist parents in the discipleship of their teenagers.

We have one class for Middle school and one for High school
High School meets in “The Cornerstone” and Middle School meets in “The Garage.”
sunday evening
5:00 – 7:00p
Underground
MS + HS
Underground | 6 - 7:30pm
This is our large group time for all middle and high school students
- Each week we have games, fellowship, worship time and a challenging, Gospel centered Bible study
- We always encourage students to bring new people to Underground!
- Middle school Underground meets in “The Garage”, High school Underground meets in “The Cornerstone”. Both groups will combine for worship time.

Mid-Week Small Groups
MS + HS
Mid-Week Small Groups| 6 - 7:30pm
This is a time for students to gather with peers and a leader as they interact with God’s word together. Groups are split by age and gender.
In the summer, we take a break from Wednesday night small groups and have a book club instead.
